Okay, so here’s the deal…

Marshmallows aren’t toxic to dogs—which means that they won’t necessarily kill your furry friend.

However, they do contain a boatload of sugar which will most definitely wreak havoc on your doggy friend’s digestive system and health.

In fact, intake of sugar is has been linked to excess shedding in dogs and itching as well!

So, even though the occasional marshmallow won’t necessarily harm your dog, it’s best that you learn to say ‘no’ to your furry friend.

I could tell you that marshmallows are safe in moderation…But, even if you feed your dog say, one or two marshmallows a day, they will eventually cause a problem.

So, no sugar for your doggy. There are a lot of dog treats available on the market! So, distract your doggy friends with those instead.

Like I said before, the consumption of marshmallows is not toxic for your dog.

But, you should still keep a close eye on your doggy friend as they can have an upset stomach or can even vomit.

If your dog has stopped eating food or drinking water, you should immediately take him to the vet or go to an emergency animal care center.

Consumption of sweets has also been linked to excessive shedding as well as allergic reactions.

So, lay low on the marshmallows. Feeding your dog some marshmallows once in a blue moon won’t hurt but, don’t make it a habit.
